In addition to taking in injured animals for care and release, Fera Anima will be involved in scientific research actions in various ways.

Post-release monitoring

To ensure the successful return of wild animals to the wild after medical care, research stations will carry out pre-release training and post-release monitoring, using geolocation equipment and behavioral studies.

Environmental protection

Fera Anima will help improve the health of ecosystems by conducting census studies and monitoring the quality of terrestrial and aquatic environments.

Development of a database for wildlife

Pathological and parasitological research on rescued animals will help prevent diseases and protect wildlife. The development of a database of reference values for native species will allow for better medical care of these animals.
